The ‘Soul Mirror’

The “Soul Mirror” in my definition is the inner part of us that we have mastered at hiding from

the world. We look into a regular mirror and can change that image to whatever we want it to be.

Then, we convince others that what they see is what they get. However, no matter how much you

try to convince others, you cannot fool the heart. Our” Soul Mirror” eats us alive emotionally

when we ignore it. It is our regrets and the people that hurt us, including ourselves. It is our

insecurities and imperfections.  Your bravery equals your freedom. Be bold, be brave and face

your “Soul Mirror”.

So, how do you face your “Soul Mirror”? First, you choose! Make a choice

and stand firm in the decision. Also, be flexible in the experience. You have to choose freedom

over fear. You have to choose self-fulfillment over self-sabotage.  Slide some forgiveness in your

choices, not just forgiveness for self; but also for others. As you begin to forgive self, watch the

amazing transformation reflected.

Trust your gut always accepting the healthiest mental option. A choice is an individual decision, but that decision often

times influenced by our surroundings. What we listen to, read, and watch instill thoughts within us and if we do not create

a firm foundation of self-purpose those influences can sway us. If you are not satisfied with the choices, you have made,

consider your influences. You will be surprised at how your choices change because the influenced mind has changed.
